About Me

I am an experienced UKCP registered Gestalt Psychotherapist and Supervisor and have worked in private practice since 2013. I also have experience working within NHS and university settings. Recently, I completed the foundation year in eco-psychology and nature-based practice with the Natural Academy.
In my practice, I have worked with trauma, depression, anxiety, panic, stress, domestic abuse, bereavement and loss, sexuality and identity problems and relationship difficulties. I also had training and have experience in working with clients on the autistic or ADHD spectrum and enjoy working with neurodivergent individuals.
Depending on the needs of my clients, I offer regular weekly or fortnightly sessions on a short, medium and long-term basis.
I have a particular interest in working creatively, experientially and relationally with trauma and non-verbal aspects of our experience. Trauma is often held in the body, imprinted on our nervous system and difficult to access by rational thought. I can offer a safe and containing environment to give space and expression to difficult thoughts and feelings.
Connected to my own experience and history as a German person, I am very interested in transgenerational trauma and what we may carry from our parents, other relatives and ancestors.
Currently, I am developing my own nature-based practice. Connecting with nature can help us to regulate, find new meanings and perspectives and offer profound holding and healing.
